"I am convinced that teaching people the basics of our legal system will lead to more community involvement, which will in turn benefit not just the students, but their children and their entire community."

Amanda DuBois, Creative Founder & CEO

Amanda DuBois is a practicing attorney
in Seattle, Washington. For more than
20 years she has helped individuals
  navigate the often confusing legal
system. Amanda believes that people will
be able to more meaningfully engage in
  their communities if they understand
how the legal system works. So, she
wrote the Civil Survival Book Series and
our two online education courses to
teach ordinary people about the legal
system and their legal rights and
  responsibilities.
